Network schedule

The network schedule is the national syndicated schedule of particular programmes. On Network Six, it is obligatory for regional franchises to broadcast these programmes, however there is often an element of choice.

Network Six publishes five sets of schedules a year:

• Winter schedule (starts first Monday in January)
• Spring schedule (mid-March)
• Autumn schedule (starts second Monday in September)
• Christmas schedules (based upon the Autumn schedule; special schedules for Christmas period)

The present schedule, Winter 2008, was announced on 2 January 2008, and began broadcasting on 7 January.[1]
